The document

Purpose

This register records how A M Water Services Limited meets Clause 4.4 of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001: the processes needed for the management system, their sequence and interaction, and the criteria, resources, responsibilities, risks, evaluation and improvement that apply to each.

Scope

Core operational processes — water infrastructure services
Management processes — planning, review, improvement
Support processes — training, document control, communication
Their interactions and interdependencies

What each process records

Clause 4.4.1 lists what has to be determined for each process. Every one of the 9 processes carries all 11, and each is shown against the sub-clause it answers when a row is opened.

Processes deliberately not listed

Three process names in the Issue 2 register were removed rather than renamed.

Project ManagementNot a separate AMWS process. Winning the work and delivering it are P1 and P2, run by Aaron Mason and Jason May. There is no project management function and no PM team.
Quality ControlNot a separate process either. Quality is checked inside P2 delivery at the client’s inspection, and inside P9 through audits and nonconformities. There are no QC personnel and no testing equipment.
Customer ServiceThe same activity as P1, handled by the same two people. AMWS has no customer service team and no CRM.

Listing three processes that do not exist made the register look more substantial and made it less accurate. Clause 4.4 asks for the processes needed for the management system and their interactions, not for a standard list.
