The document

Purpose

This register is the programme of internal audits for the A M Water Services Limited Integrated Management System, covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. It records what was audited, when, against which clauses, and what each audit found, so that Clause 9.2 can be evidenced across more than one cycle rather than one year at a time.

Scope

Every internal audit AMWS has run. Sixteen areas are audited in each cycle and each 2026 report explicitly follows up its 2025 predecessor, so a finding can be traced from the year it was raised to the year it was retested. Prior-year reports are retained rather than replaced.

What this register does not hold

The corrective actions. Findings raised by these audits are managed on APP_21, which carries the owner, the target and the verification for each one. The CAR tracker on the appendix page is generated from the corrective action reports themselves so that this programme and APP_21 cannot report different closure positions.

The external audits. Alcumus ISOQAR surveillance and recertification visits are held under Accreditations.

What each audit verifies

1Documents and records are current
2Procedures are being followed
3Staff understand their responsibilities
4Legal requirements are met
5Previous audit findings are closed

Findings raised, and where they are tracked

Counted from the corrective action reports at build time, so this cannot disagree with APP_21. The owner, the target and the verification for each one are held there.

2025 cycle23230
2026 cycle1899

The 2026 total includes three corrective actions raised on 01/06/2026 by the May 2026 interim Management Review rather than by this audit cycle. They are counted here because APP_21 counts them, and two controlled documents reporting different totals for the same year is worse than one total that needs a sentence of explanation.

What each audit produces

An audit report with its findings, a corrective action request on APP_21 where one is needed, and any opportunities for improvement. A report that raises nothing still produces a report: this register shows 12 of 16 audits raising a finding, and the rest are evidence that the area was tested and found sound.
