Director Site-Tour Programme — retired

This programme has been retired

The Director Site-Tour Programme (FORM_DST_01) operated briefly in early 2026 and is now retired. AMWS Directors continue to attend sites as part of normal operational duties (Aaron Mason in particular maintains a hands-on operational presence on framework jobs) but this is not a documented programme with a quota or template.

The formal mechanism for capturing workforce sentiment, leadership visibility evidence and staff cultural feedback is now the AMWS H&S Culture Survey — a Onyx Operations-methodology questionnaire scheduled for Q3 2026 post-audit rollout.

Why the change

A formal "directors visit sites and fill in a template" programme overlapped with operational reality (Aaron is on sites anyway as part of running the business) and didn't generate the workforce-sentiment signal that ISO 45001 and Achilles UVDB B2.7.3 actually expect. The AMWS H&S Culture Survey (Onyx Operations) instrument is HSG65-aligned, covers all staff (not just operatives Aaron happens to be on site with), and gives a structured annual cultural posture readout to the Directors.

What remains in place

  • Aaron Mason's hands-on operational site presence — continues as part of running the business (not a measurable KPI)
  • Leadership engagement evidence — captured through the standing weekly Director / HSQE compliance call notes, APP_11 KPI reviews, and (from Q3 2026) the AMWS H&S Culture Survey (Onyx Operations) results
  • Operative engagement evidence — captured via the Toolbox-Talk Programme attendance template (TBT_PROG_01) and the Onyx Operations survey
