What this is
Visible leadership is one of the items the Achilles UVDB B2 audit looks for under section 1.7.3 — Senior management safety tours / inspections. AMWS Directors visit sites regularly as part of day-to-day operations; this page provides a one-page record template so that those visits are captured as auditable evidence rather than being purely informal. It complements APP_11 KPI B3 (2 director site visits per director per month) and SOP 6.3 — Site Inspections & Tours.
How to use¶
- Aaron or Leanne completes one Director Site-Tour Record per visit (see template below)
- Logged on the portal under
docs/audits/site-tours/<YYYY>/dst-<YYYYMMDD>-<site>.md - Any Action raised feeds into APP_21 — NC & Improvement Register
- Reviewed quarterly at Management Review (SOP 6.4) for trend and engagement metrics

Why this matters for the audit¶
Achilles UVDB B2.7.3 expects evidence that senior management visibly engages with safety on site. The auditor will look for:
- A record format (this template),
- Recent completed visits (the 2026 log),
- Actions traceable from observation → owner → close-out (APP_21 link),
- Frequency consistent with policy (KPI B3: 2 visits per director per month).
