Details of Nonconformity

Statement of Nonconformity: OBSERVATION (rolled forward from CAR-2025-003): APP_06 Aspects 1 (Emissions) and 9 (Energy Use) are now explicitly cross-referenced to APP_05 risks and to APP_11 KPI E3. The remaining 12 aspects in APP_06 (Waste, Spillages, Noise, Dust, Water Use, Chemical Use, Habitat Disturbance, Material Storage, Traffic Impact, Asbestos, plus the two [NEW 2026] additions Climate Adaptation and PFAS) have not yet received the same cross-referencing treatment.

Planned Actions

  1. Extend APP_06 ↔ APP_05 cross-references across all 14 aspects (31/08/2026)

Root Cause

Primary Cause: The 2025–26 rebuild cross-referenced the two highest-materiality aspects first; completing the remaining 12 is a completeness exercise. Contributing Factors: Aspect register expanded to 14 with the two [NEW 2026] additions.

Proposed Corrective Action

  1. Add explicit APP_05 risk references to each of the remaining 12 aspects.
  2. Confirm each aspect's link to the relevant APP_11 KPI where one exists.

Verification

  1. [ ] All 14 APP_06 aspects carry an explicit APP_05 cross-reference.
  2. [ ] Spot-check confirms the references resolve correctly.

Recommendations

  1. Do this in the same pass as the post-audit APP_06 annual review (due 04/07/2026).
  2. Keep the cross-reference inline in the aspect row for auditor sampling.
