Environmental Performance

The three environmental performance documents, what each one is for, and which measured objective it feeds.

Framework Details
Documents 3 — carbon baseline, sustainability note, recycling initiatives
Objectives fed E1 environmental incidents · E2 waste diverted from landfill · E3 carbon Scope 1 + 2
Aspects register APP_06 — 14 aspects scored
Standard ISO 14001:2015, transitioning to ISO 14001:2026 (APP_25)
Controlled By Sean Ashton (HSQE Consultant)
Approved By Aaron Mason, Director

How the three fit together

APP_06 identifies and scores the fourteen environmental aspects of the work. The significant ones drive the objectives, which are measured in APP_11. The three documents below hold the underlying data and commitments.

Document Reference What it is Feeds
Carbon Baseline 2025 CARB_BASELINE_2025 The Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions baseline — fuel, fleet and purchased electricity E3 — carbon, tCO₂e Scope 1 + 2
Sustainability Note 2025 SUS_NOTE_2025 The stated sustainability position and the commitments made to customers Context for E2 and E3
Recycling Initiatives RECYC_NOTE_2025 Waste segregation and diversion activity at the yard and on site E2 — waste diverted from landfill

Position at this issue

E1 — environmental incidents: on track. No reportable environmental incidents.

E2 — waste diverted from landfill: watch. The diversion figure is being compiled from the 2026 waste transfer notes, owned by Jason May. The measure reports against the compiled series at the next KPI review.

E3 — carbon Scope 1 + 2: watch. The baseline exists and is sound. The approach for the annual recalculation against it is defined under APP_25 clause 9.1.1, owned by Sean Ashton for 31/12/2026.

Emergency and spill response

Environmental emergency preparedness is not held here. The scenarios, the response matrix and the drill record are in APP_16, and the spill kits and other response equipment are in APP_18.
